Overview

Rafting on the Martha Brae is Jamaica’s #1 rafting attraction located in the Parish of Trelawny. Your experience begins at the “Rafter’s Village” embarkation area, with manicured lawns, picnic grounds, a full service bar, souvenir shops, swimming pool, and restroom facilities. There is also the “Miss Martha’s Herb Garden” with herbs famous for their medicinal and healing properties.

Rafting on the Martha Brae, established forty years ago, operates with licensed and experienced raft captains that guide you down a tree mile stretch of the beautiful Martha Brae river and which takes about one hour. Rafting captains share with you the “The Legend of Martha Brae” and stop during your river rafting journey so that you can enjoy an exhilarating swim. At end of your river rafting is the disembarkation area where you will find a souvenir shop, bar, lounge area and restrooms.

Dunn’s River Falls is the perfect destination to have fun and relax with the whole family. You can climb the falls hand in hand with other visitors while you are safely guided up to falls by an experienced guide. Water shoes are suggested for your journey up the falls. You can stop at the many pools and experience the water as it caresses you on its way to the sea. Should you not wish to use the water route up the falls, you can make your way up along the wooden walk ways and stop along the way at vantage point terraces / decks.

You also can walk, jog, and lie in the sun on the beautiful, clean, beach and swim in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Of course your eyes will view lush tropical foliage / ferns, bamboos, ginger lilies, orchids, a variety of palms and breadfruit trees.

One you leave Dunn’s River Falls you can visit the town of Ocho Rios for shopping, or stop at Margaretaville for food, or one of their special refreshing beverages.

This tour departs between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. depending upon where your accommodations are located and your return time depends upon how long you wish to enjoy tour activities. The tour may be scheduled for any day of the week from Sandals Whitehouse, Negril , Lucea [Grand Palladium], Montego Bay area resorts/hotels.

Sandals Whitehouse: $300 USD (1-4) persons – Each additional $20.00 per person:
Negril: $300 USD (1-4) persons – Each additional $20.00 per person;
Lucea [Grand Palladium]: $250 USD (1-4) persons – Each additional $20.00 per person;
Montego Bay: $250 USD (1-4) persons – Each additional $20.00 per person.
